Sponsorship
As an On-Hire Labour Agreement holder, Australia PEO can sponsor and employ your ideal skilled candidates who qualify for visas such as 482.
Hire your ideal candidate from overseas for roles you can’t fill locally.
Retain critical staff who want to relocate to Australia and work remotely without establishing a local entity.
Engage overseas workers on a temporary or project-based basis to meet short-term workforce needs.
Relocate your trusted employees into Australia to expand your operations
As an Employer of Record (EOR) with an approved On-Hire Labour Agreement (OHLA), we have the capability to sponsor Skills in Demand (subclass 482) visa holders on behalf of both Australian and overseas companies, for approved roles.
482 visas enable workers to stay and work in Australia for up to 4 years, depending on the occupation.
482 visas can be renewed at the end of each term
Whether you’re looking to retain critical staff relocating to Australia, hire skilled talent from overseas, or send existing staff to Australia, you simply let us know who you’d like us to sponsor. We’ll take it from there.
Our team carefully assesses the applicant’s eligibility, including their qualifications, work experience, and English proficiency to ensure they meet the requirements for a 482 visa and the nominated position.
We handle the nomination process, providing evidence that the role is genuine and the salary meets market standards.
Our team prepares and submits the visa application, including all necessary documentation, to ensure a smooth and efficient approval process.
Once the nomination and visa applications are submitted, we monitor the process closely and keep you updated every step of the way until a decision is made.
We work closely with your employee to support their arrival into Australia and provide the information they need for housing, applying for their Tax File Number, superannuation accounts, local medical insurance, bank accounts and more.

Labour Market Testing (LMT) is a requirement under Australia's visa program to ensure that Australian employers have genuinely attempted to recruit and hire local workers before sponsoring an overseas worker for a visa, such as the 482 Skills in Demand visa or a visa under a Labour Agreement. It involves advertising for the position on two job sites for a period of 28 days or more. LMT helps demonstrate that the employer is only seeking to hire foreign workers when no suitably qualified or experienced Australian citizens or permanent residents are available.
At this stage, our On-Hire Labour Agreement supports sponsorship for the 482 visa only, and unfortunately does not offer a direct pathway to Permanent Residency.

Recent updates to the Skills in Demand 482 visa rules allow more flexibility for visa holders when transferring employers. Here’s the latest situation under current Australian migration law:
Start Work Immediately with New Employer (Pending Nomination Approval): You can start working for the new employer as soon as they lodge a valid nomination, provided your current visa is still valid. This means you don't need to wait for the nomination to be approved to commence work with the new employer.
180-Day Period to Change Employers: If you leave your current employer, you have 180 days to find a new employer who is willing to sponsor you and lodge a nomination. During this time, your visa remains valid, and you’re legally allowed to remain in Australia while transitioning.
Key Conditions: The new employer must lodge the nomination before you can begin work with them. If the nomination is refused, you cannot continue working for the new employer and will need to find another sponsor or take appropriate steps to stay compliant with your visa conditions. This flexibility is designed to improve mobility for 482 visa holders and ensure they’re not locked into unfavourable employment situations.
